66 and he still Rocks On!

Hello to all my crafty friends!
Today we celebrated my hubby's 66th birthday, so needless to say I was up pretty late last night making him a special birthday card.

Alf loves to sing and if I say so myself he does have a pretty nice voice. So with this in mind and
this weeks challenge over at Hiding in My Craft Room ( use a critter) I was able to come up with this adorable birthday card.

This Easel card is from My Scrap Chick and was so easy to cut and put together with a bit of scrap paper and of course my Cameo.

I love the way this card turned out and the kids got a real kick out of it. So all in all it was another wonderful day with our kids and grandkids.

Trick or Treat! Goodie Bags

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat! 10 down and another 80 to go!
Am I crazy or what????

This year I decided to make up goody bag for all the kids that come around in all their adorable costume. I do not dress up but our dog Buttons always has a special costume on to greet  the kids in the neighbor hood. A lot of the parents ask if they can take a picture of her cause she is so cute, weighing in at 4 pounds soaking wet.
These two gift boxes are for the two little girls that live next door to us. The boxes were cut from Cricuts Mini Monsters cartridge. using the fit to page feature.
These picture do not do the tags justice, they are so filled with glitter, pop up dots and fun sayings.

I will be entering these into the following challenges.

Happy World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day!!! Today my daughter Christy came over and we worked on a few cards. I decided on another Birthday Card since I have a lot of Birthdays coming up this month and my stash is very low. I am really happy with the way this card turned out considering it was all scraps from my stash!

Cartridges used were Tags Bags and More for the tag and George and Basic Shapes for the stars.
Here's a shot of the inside of the card and the envelope I made to go with it.

Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine Winner and a quick Birthday Card!

Hello all my Crafty friends. Today I have a Birthday Card I would like to share with you that I made following this weeks sketch over at Die Cuttin Diva's.
I also finally got around to picking the winner for the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine that I was published in and wanted to share with one of my lucky followers.
I do apologize for the delay but I have been having a few health problems that I am trying hard to deal with and hopefully I will have some answers soon.
This is the sketch I based my card on which can be found over at Die Cuttin Diva's Blog.
and here is my take on the sketch.
List of items used:
My Craft Spot "Inside and Out #2" for the Happy Birthday sentiment.
Paper  "Fresh Goods" by Peddles .
Cricut Cartridge Florals Embellished, flower cut at 2 and 3/4.
I even finished the inside of the card using a Hambo Stamps that I picked up at the Canadian Scrapbooker Carnival.
and talking about Canadian Scrapbooker,  how about that winner I was talking about!
there were 39 wonderful comments and 1 comment that was rude and hurtful which I quickly deleted! I  even got a few new followers which I thank you very much for.
Using Random.org the lucky winner is #39
Lynnie Einerson.
Please email me at jennyplace26@gmail.com and I will get your magazine in the mail.
