Get Well Soon

Good Morning to all my wonderful followers and Happy Monday!

OMG! It is so hard to believe that this is the last Monday for the month of February and what this means is I will be heading back home in just a couple of days to face the cold winter weather in Sunny Alberta. I do miss my family but I wish I could stay here in Arizona till at least the end of March but since that is not going to happen I guess I should go on and tell you about today's project using

This week the Design Team have been asked to make a project using a flower.
I decided to make a couple of get well cards since my stash has gotten pretty low.

and here is a close up of the sentiments I used from Joys Life "Everyday Occasions Stamps"
I can't believe I made two cards and I didn't even use a Cricut cut!
Both cards measure 5 by 5 inches and were a breeze to whip up. All edges were chalked with ink.

The ribbon is from My Craft Spot and
both the flowers were gift from one of my blogging Buddies.
So until next time thanks for stopping bye and have a great week.

Happy Birthday Joy

Woo! Hoo! This week the girls from Joys Life Design Team are all celebrating Joys birthday.
So what better way to show case this weeks projects over at Joys Life Design Team Blog, but with a fun Birthday Project!

Have you ever seen a Bee on roller skates? Well I guess there is always a first time. My nieces BFF is having a birthday and this is the card that Gillian ask if I could make.
Her friend is on a Roller Derby Team and her name is Debby so she thought this would be a cute idea.
I used Joys Life "All Around Sentiment" and place the sentiment on a action wobble.
The Bee was cut at 3 inches from Birthday Bash. The roller skater are also from this cartridge but on the giraffe. So I just combined the two, using my gypsy to get the right size on the skates.
I hope you enjoyed today's project. As always thanks for stopping bye and don't forget to pop over to Joys Blog and wish her a Happy Birthday!

Hello Kitty Valentine Cards and Treat Boxes

Today I have fun project for Joys Life Design Team. With Valentines just around the corner we were asked to make something with this in mind.
So I dug out my Hello Kitty cartridge and made four cards and matching gift boxes for the youngest grand kids.
I used Joys Life All around Sentiments for the cute little saying in the hearts. They fit just perfect!
Each heart was placed on a action wobble for the kids. (They love those things.)
The cards were cut at 5 inches and once again I used the Joys Life "All Around Sentiments" for the fun sayings in the hearts.
Challenges entered:
Fantablous Cricut-Be My Valentine
Bitten By the Bug 2- Love is in the Air, use a heart or a cupid
Exploring Cricut- Be my Valentine
Little Scrap Pieces- Love is in the Air
Well that's it for another day. Thanks for stopping in and have a great week.

XOX Wall Decor

Good morning all my Crafty friends and Happy Monday!
If you have been following my blog you all know what Monday is....
Yes it is my turn for another fun Joys Life Design Team project.
This week the girls have been asked to make a project with a "LOVE THEME". I decided to make a wall hanging with four of our grandchildren.
For the heart on the top of the hanging I used Joys Life Joyful Hearts, embossing powder and the heat gun.
The I Love You is from the silhouette store.
Cupid is from Cricuts Sweetheart cartridge. I used stickles to bling it up a bit.

Here is a picture of the complete wall hanging. Boy Oh Boy was it ever hard to get a good picture.
I will be entering this project into the following challenges:
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge me Monday- Queen of Hearts
Scrappy Frogs Challenge Blog- Use Red or Pink
Go Fish Challenge- I Love You.
Frosted Designs- Use the word Love and at least one Heart.
Cameo Creations Challenge- Love Ya!
