Happy Birthday Canada! Using Bear Hugs Little Patriots With A Twist!

Hello all my Craft Friends! I can not believe it has been a whole week since I have posted, it is not like I have not been scrapbooking, I have four layout on the go but for some reason I just keep putting them aside and starting  new ones. But since it is the weekend and it is Canada's Birthday on July 1st. I decided I had better get this one finished for my Bear Hugs DT Post.
When I first saw this file from Bear Hugs Arts and Scraps I knew I would be making it right away, I just fell in love with it, but sicne I am Canadian I just decided to add I few little changes to the outfits along with using my Go Canada Cricut Cartridge and instead of having a 4th of July page I would have a July 1st page.
Scrappy Moms Stamps is having a challenge this week in honor of both Canada Day and the 4th of July. There challenge this week is Patiriotic Pride.
Then of course I had to use this weeks sketch from Lets Get Sketchy! I love there weekly challenges and find if I am having trouble with my mojo I find their sketches always inspire me!!
I think these Bears turned out so darn cute in there cute little outfits holding there Canadian Flags Balloon and Heart.
I will be entering this layout over at StuckOnUSketches Die cut challenge: use a flag
and then of coure I can not forget about Go Fish Challenge Blog. this week is to create something Patriotie.
The pictures on this layout our of our dog Button's she is spoiled rotten and has us both wrapped around her paws! When I saw this jersey at Walmart the other day I just had to get it for the layout, she was really ticked with me and did not want her picture taken at all.
So with this being said I would also like to enter this layout over at Simon Says: this weeks challenge is Sporty and Patriotic- Go Buttons! Go!
She ran out side layed down on the grass and would not look at me for love or money but I did manage to get a couple of cute shots, I only get the outfit for the pictures and then she never wears them again. I know it is a waste of money but I cannot help myself. Finally I am going to enter this layout over at More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday: this weeks challenge is to the fouth of July using red, white and blue if you look at the top paper there are some blue Canada's.
So once again thank you for stopping by. Have a great weekend with all your loved ones.

Beach Bums !

I can't believe Friday is here already and with Friday comes my project using Bear Hugs Arts and Scraps SVG files. Today I have decided to to a beach scene from our last vacation in October when we went to Hawaii for our anniversary.
This file is called Beach Bums and I thought this would be the perfect title.
I used glitter paper on the cuts but they didn't show up that well in the pictures.
I also had both my Cameo and my Cricut cutting at the same time last night, you should of heard the noise coming from my room. LOL!
I did use a cricut cartridge for this little old lady. When I was out shopping last week at Walmart I had to check out the cricut stuff. I had never seen Summer Fun cartridge before, but one look at that image and it was sold. She reminds me of myself.
I will be linking this layout up to the following challenges.
Exporing Cricut: Summer Fun, 3 cricut cuts, 2 pattern papers and 1 embellishment.
Monica's Creative Madness Cameo Challenge:Summer Fun
Just a Scrappin: Anything goes use the colour green
Get Cricky Simple Sunday Challenge: Summertime
Krafty Girls: Fun in the Sun.

Faith and Promise! Lets Get Sketchy Challenge #16

Time for another change over at Lets Get Sketchy! I just love there sketch challenges. This is a picture of this weeks sketch.

and here is my take of it. I can't wait to get a picture of the granddaughters to add to this layout. This layout is just about cricutless, can you believe that! The only cartridge I used was George and basic shapes for the ovals.
I used K&Company Julianne paper pack. I just love the glossy and glitter paper.
Hope you enjoyed today's layout. Thanks for stopping by, have a great week.

# 1 Dad! My Love Bug

Wow! I can't believe, I made two cards this week. With Fathers Day being next week, I decided to make a card for my hubby so I could enter a few of my favorite challenges.
The first challenge is for Go Fish, they had this lovely sketch to follow and asked us to create a Fathers Day card.
The next challenge is for Exploring Cricut: Fathers Day with a cricut cuts. I used Celebrate with Flourish and cut The # 1 Dad at 3.35 inches and the envelope was made before hand and I just added a bit of matching paper to dress it up a bit, I forgot which cartridge I used. LOL
Here is a close up of the cricut cut.
The next challenge was made for D. L. Art: Make a card using your scraps. Well this was easy for me, because I am a hoarder when it comes to my paper. Nothing gets thrown away!
Next we have a colour challenge over at  I came, I saw, I created.
and I can't forget Scrappy Moms Stamp: create a Fathers Day Card.
So when I put everything together I think I did a pretty good job of the card and I really do like the way it turned out.
So once again thank you for stopping in, have a great weekend.

Some Bunny Loves You!

Hello my Crafty Friends, today I have a quick card I made last night after talking to my sister. She had the nerve to ask me where my new projects were for this week, she said she was really getting bored  looking at the same thing over and over again ! LOL! She cracks me right up, she is one of those crafters that can not make up her mind on anything and takes at least 2 days to make one layout, but I must admit they do turn out really nice and everything is just perfect.
Yes, Debby I still love you even if you do get bossy with me, ( just joking) but then you are my older sister.
So today I have a card that I cut using my Cameo and this weeks Freebie over at Bear Hugs Art & Scraps
Don't forget to head over to Bear Hugs and get your free file, they are a dream to work with.

I used Peachy Keen stamps for the cute little bunnies face. Inked and chalked all the edges and added a little bit of bling and glitter pen.

Once again thank you for stopping by my blog ! Have a great weekend.
Challenges that I will be entering are:
Fantabulous Cricut challenge me Monday - "Bugs"
Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - "Summertime"
Just a Scrappin - "Lets make it move"

Heaven Sent

What a night I had last night! Around super time my sister Debby called and told me my Uncle had passed away, he had just lost his wife five weeks ago and after 80 years of marriage he just didn't want to go on without her. Then she gave me a little bit more bad news , but I won't go into it at this time. So needless to say no matter what I did I could not get to sleep, so finally at midnight I just said to heck with it and went to my scraproom to try and get my mind off of it. I really do feel that scrapbooking is great therapy and I really needed some last night. So here we are it is 4:00 PM and still no sleep but I did create a great layout for both this weeks DT project for Bear Hugs Paper Piecing face book fan page.
I created this layout of my grandson Joshua for a couple of my favorite challenges using two of the past freebies over at Bear Hugs by Art and Scraps. Both bears are still available for only $1.00 each.
The first Challenge is this sketch over at Lets Get Sketchy, they always have such great sketches which makes it easy to play along.
Next I wanted to use the colours for this weeks colour challenge over at I came, I saw, I created and of course I couldn't forget Fantabulous Cricut Challenge me Monday - this weeks challenge make a project using red plus anything that makes you think of Memorial Day. Well since I am Canadian and we do not celebrate Memorial Day, this does not mean I do not know what it stands for. So I decided to use these colours along with the star paper and these past freebies from Bear Hugs to show that all military are angels no matter if they are from Canada or the United States. They do make us proud!
I used a shimmer paper for the clouds and inked all the edges.

I then added a few pop up dots to give the layout some dimension.
The title "Heaven Sent" was cut from Cricut Lite cartridge 9 months, but I didn't like the cloud so I cut it off and used Pooh and Friends for my clouds.
I used two different embossing folders for the layout and the final touch was some pretty red ribbon.

I also wanted to let you know that there is still time to head over to Bear Hugs and pick up this week freebie.
Once again my crafty friends thanks for stopping bye and leaving me a bit of love. Have a great weekend.
